Cheesy Polenta or Grits

Ingredients

  • Water - 24 oz / 700 ml
  • Quick Cook Grits/Polenta - 2 C / 350 g
  • Salt - 2 tsp / 2 g
  • Cheddar - 4 oz / 115 g
  • Green Onions - 1/2 bunch 

Steps

  1. Chop cheese. Green onions
  2. Turn on burner. Med heat
  3. Add water. Boil
  4. Add grits, salt. Stir, Stir.
  5. Cook  3-5 min until hydratd.
  6. Add cheese, green onions. Stir.
  7. EAT!

Notes/Additions

Did you know that? Grits/Polenta/Cornmeal/Masa are all pretty much the same thing? Dried ground corn just different name and a different grind.
